REXA Cares

Being a responsible member of the communities in which we live and work is an important component of our mission. To support this commitment, we developed the REXA Cares program. This program encourages our employees to get involved in community improvement opportunities. All REXA employees are allotted 8 paid hours each year to put towards volunteering!

Additionally, REXA partners with various charitable organizations such as United Way of Greater Plymouth County. We also hold our own charitable fundraisers/donations each year that employees participate in. These include canned goods donations, clothing donations and sponsoring a family in need of assistance during the holiday season. Learn more about our major programs below!

In September, 2019 we began our partnership with the local United Way Chapter. A group of employees participated in the United Way 98th Day of Caring event by volunteering to work at a local shelter.

In November, 2019 REXA hosted the official United Way/REXA partnership kickoff event at our facility. The day was filled with fun activities and opportunities to donate. Through the generosity of our employees, and our 100% match, we raised over $11,000 in donations!

While our partnership with United Way is still relatively new, REXA employees significantly contributed to helping United Way in their mission to ensure continuous improvement in the communities they serve. We are committed to continuing to make an impact through our partnership with United Way!

The holidays are an exciting time for many to come together with family and friends. For some, however, it can be a tough time. It’s been a long-standing tradition for REXA to sponsor families around the holiday season. Whether it’s helping monetarily through paying overdue utility bills or purchasing presents for the children, we do whatever we can to alleviate hardships and help the families focus on what’s important – being together for the holidays!

To help support the fight against breast cancer, REXA wears pink on one Friday during the month of October (Breast Cancer Awareness Month). For every employee wearing pink, we donate $5.00 to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

We also participate in the American Cancer Society’s annual Daffodil Days

REXA also works with a local charity called My Brother’s Keeper. This charity delivers furniture and food to people in need. We participate in their annual Thanksgiving food drive and volunteer our time during the holiday season!
